Dominic Holland

Award-winning comedian, author, and broadcaster Dominic Holland is one of the UK’s most respected and versatile comic talents. With a career spanning stand-up, television, radio, and writing, Dominic has built a reputation for sharp observational humour delivered with intelligence, warmth, and impeccable timing.  Dominic first rose to prominence after winning the prestigious Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, marking him out as a major force on the UK comedy circuit. Since then, he has become a regular headliner at leading comedy venues across the country and internationally, known for his polished performances and effortlessly engaging stage presence.

A familiar voice and face across British media, Dominic has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes, as well as writing and performing his own critically acclaimed shows. His work combines wit and insight, often drawing on family life, modern relationships, and the absurdities of everyday living.

 

In addition to stand-up, Dominic is an accomplished author, having written 10 books including both comedic works and memoirs, and is working on his 7th novel.

Despite his considerable efforts and many successes in comedy, Dominic admits that his greatest achievement in life is being a father to 4 boys — most notably to his eldest son, actor Tom Holland — a reality that inspired his bestselling non-fiction book Eclipsed.
