Tadiwa Mahluge

Tadiwa Mahlunge is a fearless, sharply observed comedian and one of the most exciting acts on the UK live comedy circuit. With a growing reputation for slick storytelling, intelligent material and an infectious stage presence, Tadiwa has quickly established himself as a comedian with serious momentum.

A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe and across the UK comedy circuit, Tadiwa has performed at Latitude, Green Man and Greenwich Comedy Festival, alongside some of the biggest names in comedy. He has also provided tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jessica Fostekew, as well as TV warm-up for Desiree Birch’s Amazon Prime special.

His television credits include BBC One, BBC Two, Dave, Comedy Central, ITVX, UTV and Comic Relief, with radio credits including BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Sounds.

Tadiwa was selected for the 2022 Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe and has become a regular Best of the Fest performer. His Edinburgh shows have received widespread critical acclaim, with The Scotsman describing him as a young and gifted comedian who is already looking like the “complete, fully rounded package”.

His debut hour was praised by The Skinny as “impressively accomplished and infectiously funny”, while Fest Mag highlighted his remarkable confidence and polished performance style.

That trajectory is already well underway. Tadiwa has built a loyal audience through a succession of critically acclaimed Edinburgh hours, sold-out performances and appearances at some of the UK’s leading comedy festivals and clubs.

Away from the stage, his material draws on his experiences as a political refugee navigating life, money, ambition and the expectations of family — delivered with a distinctive combination of warmth, intelligence and fearless comic storytelling.
